Launching Apple Support's YouTube Channel

Apple’s Support team came to us with a major, multi-faceted challenge: develop a scaleable YouTube channel strategy, establish a look + feel for global tutorial videos, and produce a starter set of said videos. Whew. Our solution? Create template-style videos made out of a library of elements that is easily reusable and interchangeable – aka lots of tapping, swiping, and press-and-holding fingers ready to be matched up with VFX devices, screen content, and editable visual systems for motion graphics and type.

This massive project was tackled head-on by a very small, agile team that dove into channel architecture, playlist flows, and video content development. Our core team also concepted, scripted, and produced 60 tutorial videos. All of this over the course of 6 months.

Surprisingly, prior to this launch Apple had no dynamic content helping users troubleshoot issues they have with their devices and applications. Now, they have an SEO based, robust catalogue of content in multiple languages that is easily buildable with the next product launch or app update.
